Dear Kinder House Families and Followers

It took me a while, to find the words for this last post.
Karratha Kinder House closed its doors at end of March 2024.

The First Term of 2024 was as exciting and colourful as all the previous exciting times.

Unfortunately, circumstances have challenged me to close the Service.

I am endlessly grateful, for everyone that has been part of the Journey.
From Family and Friends that have supported me all the way, people that have been patient with me, learning along the way, all the parents, that had faith in me and trusted me with their most precious kids.
Rio Tinto sponsored me to get started, the Ladies Fro TheY, that have been on the other end of the telephone line nonstop.
And all the Fairies in the Background, from Designers, Accountants, Warambi Estate, the City of Karratha and support from RSM Business Local.

The chance I was given, to create such a beautiful spot in our community was very special. We made so many Friends, we had regular visitors and were a great place for kids and others to come together. We had a "day care grandma"
and a "day care big sister", as well as someone doing their placement with us.

I am glad for the time we had.

And some things are only meant to be for a season.

I am excited to see, what life has planned for me and what the next chapter brings.

Karratha Kinder House wishes all our friends and families a good start to the New Year. 🌟

We have commenced service a week ago with some new and some old friends. 🩵

The new set up and the new stations are very engaging and we are doing or best to make friends, and feel home at Karratha Kinder House.

We still have a spot available on a Monday and on a Friday for some little learners.

Merry Christmas to all the Kinder House friends and families!

We have finished of the first year of Karratha Kinder House service and care!

It has been a fabulous first year. 🙏
We made a lot of friends, explored a lot and learned so many exciting things.

The past term we had a lot of celebrations,
Birthdays, Halloween and Christmas,
We cooked, we baked and we learned a lot about belonging and taking care of each other and our loved ones. ❤️

A BIG THANK YOU
To all the amazing people which have played a role this year in making my project happen and helped me to let my idea become reality!

We are very sad to say good by to the big kids, going to school, and we wish them all the best on their new journey.
You are ready to spread your wings and explore the world! 😎 Go and have a good time! 🫧🤘🏻🫧

I have already met some new families, that will join us for the next year!
I am looking forward, to meet all of our new friends and am very exciting to find out, what our new learning journey will be ❤️🙏❤️

Another beautiful 10 weeks have gone bye. 🙏

During this past term, The little learners from Karratha Kinder House have conquered a whole new world of exiting topics and wonders of this world.

Some our our favourite themes this month have build up over a journey of individual interests and interesting questions, to understand the secrets of life.

Practising our emergency evacuations, and observing Pelago evacuating on fals alarms once a week, has send us the fire brigade on regular base out front. 🚒
So we started exploring our social services in the community.

Cooking yummy and nutritious food encouraged our youngsterd to investigate more about healthy diet. And with that finding out more about our body. We went on a journey through our body, exploring our senses and joined dental health week with some funny activities.
Talking about dentists we explored our health system and set up a doctor corner combined with inclusivity, to care for our koala teddy with hearing aids and learn about other prostatics and aids for people.

It has been a wonderful jurney, the little minds started to be very openminded and investigated a lot.
Conversations joined into role play and in further questions.

We are looking forward to the next term.
We might go on a world travel.
The children have already learned some german, we count together in different languages and our globes and maps in the service are always point of interest. 🌏
And to be honest we all like eating food. We might have to try some specialities from different countries too 😋
