Spaces are open for this Monday’s Cake Therapy session, and it is the perfect antidote to school holiday burnout.
What is Cake Therapy?
It’s not a rigid art class, and it’s not a heavy clinical session. It is a beautiful, tactile blend of creative expression, mindfulness, and connection. We use the sensory, hands-on process of cake decorating as a gentle tool for emotional regulation, grounding, and pure joy.
No skills required, just a desire to breathe out, create, and connect with a supportive community.

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it too but here at Rosey's Cake Therapy, we very much disagree! 🍰✨
Step into the creative sanctuary of Artgold for a unique workshop designed for anyone aged 18 and overlooking to unwind, reset, and dedicate some quality time to themselves. This isn't a technical baking class; it’s a vibrant space for genuine connection and self-expression. Whether you are coming along with friends, family, or solo to meet new people, this night is for you.

🎨 The Vibe: Explore colour and texture using palette knives and piping techniques, focusing on the rhythmic and grounding nature of the creative process.

💬 The Community: Share stories and laughter with a wonderful mix of locals as we celebrate the joy of being creative. Enjoy tea and light refreshments while you decorate, fostering a welcoming space for easy conversation and a relaxed wind-down.

🎁 The Flexibility: Once you’ve finished your masterpiece, you are welcome to enjoy it on the spot with another cup of tea or use one of our provided cake boxes to take your creation home to share with your favourite people.

• Flavour Choice: Vanilla or Chocolate cake (with our signature frosting that tastes like ice cream!)

• Important: Bookings close the Saturday 18th July at 10:00 PM as everything is baked freshly from scratch. Cash payments can be made at the office to secure your spot. Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable if you can't make it.

We have had a few lovely people asking if we will be setting up at the ACTIV8-KB Burt Street Markets this Sunday.
While we would absolutely have loved to bring Rosey’s Cake Therapy out to the street to connect with everyone, on this occasion we unfortunately couldn't make the offered budget work with the operational costs and weekend staffing required to run our interactive setup.
We are deeply committed to delivering our full, high-calibre tactile experiences whenever we pop up in the community, and we look forward to the next opportunity where we can share that with you fully.
We wish the market organisers and all the vendors an incredible, successful day.

🌧️ 🎨 ✨
The Goldfields weather might be miserable, cold, and wet tonight, but inside Artgold, the energy was pure warmth.
We had a beautiful group of locals join us for tonight’s Cake Therapy workshop, and the results were nothing short of incredible. Because of the chilly weather, our signature frosting was quite set, which meant everyone had to really work it with their palette knives and wow, did they deliver!
We ended up with some serious edible masterpieces, including some gorgeous, thick textures that completely leaned into a stunning Van Gogh style. 🌻🍰
More than the art, it was the perfect excuse to get cozy, share life, swap stories, and enjoy a warm cuppa together while creating something with our hands.
A massive thank you to everyone who braved the rain to make tonight so special!
