WASM Wombats’ 48th Intercollegiate Mining Games journey took us all the way to Arizona, where our teams proudly represented WASM on the international stage !!

From early morning training sessions to cheering each other on between events, this weekend showcased the incredible teamwork, communication and camaraderie that makes Mining Games so special. Every team represented WASM with determination, resilience and unwavering support for one another both on and off the field.

So proud of all of our teams at this weekends Emu Cup. Big congrats to our Coeds A, Men’s A and Women’s team for taking home the win. It was a very hot and very tough day so everyone who competed should be extremely proud!

So proud of all of our teams representing WASM at the APAC Mining Games 2025. It was one of our biggest years ever with two Men’s teams, two Coed teams and one Womens team. Everyone who competed showed dedication and grit in the horrid weather conditions ⛈️

Special congratulations are in order for our

•Women’s Team who placed second overall in the Women’s Division 🥈
•Men’s B Team who placed third overall in the Men’s Division 🥉

Our Coed Teams A and B fought hard on competition days and did the Wombats proud with multiple first place event medals!
