What a fantastic week in the water for our students participating in our School Swimming Program! 🏊‍♀️

Students worked on developing their swimming skills, water confidence and important water safety skills. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow and their perseverance throughout the week! ✨

A huge well done to all our students for their enthusiasm, effort and willingness to give everything a go! 👏🏼😁

💙 **HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM CPPS!** 💙

What a wonderful morning celebrating all the amazing dads, grandfathers and special father figures in our CPPS community on Friday! 🥰

Our Father’s Day celebration was filled with so many special moments — from enjoying a delicious breakfast together, to families heading into open classrooms and sharing in their children’s learning.

Families also enjoyed getting active and playing football together creating plenty of laughs and memories on the field!

We were entertained by our fantastic dancers and Abby’s singing performance 🎤✨

Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the morning so special.
We hope you have a fantastic Father’s Day filled with love, laughter and wonderful memories together! 💙

**Happy Father’s Day!**

The Sugar Gliders have had a fantastic term filled with hands on learning! In English, we've been exploring pollution and its effects on the environment, using this topic to inspire our writing when creating sentences. We connected this to our artwork, where students did an amazing job collecting various materials to create pollution themed artworks. In Science, we've been discovering how matter matters by exploring different states of matter and experimenting with making oobleck. We've also begun our Panthers on the Prowl program, enjoying the opportunity to develop new skills. Communication is key to all life skills, so this term we've been making the most of our school's beautiful yarning circle to have open, respectful, and meaningful discussions.

The Tassie Devils have had a fantastic Term 3! We have enjoyed lots of wonderful experiences, including a visit from Taronga Zoo where we learnt about and met animals, Panthers on the Prowl where we worked as a team and learnt new skills, and our NAIDOC program. In the classroom, we have been working hard towards our reading goals through reciprocal reading, exploring poetry, and working towards our maths goals. What a wonderful term of learning and growth! 🐾😁

The Paper Daisies have had a wonderful start to Term 3! 🌼

📕 In Phonics, we have been busy learning new phonemes and focusing on blending and segmenting sounds, as well as exploring digraphs to help us read and spell more challenging words.

📝 In writing, we have become more confident writing simple sentences independently and have been learning how to write complex sentences using ‘when’. We have also been learning about prepositional phrases and using exclamation marks and question marks correctly in our writing.

🔢 In Mathematics, we have been practising our doubles facts, learning inverse operations, adding combinations of numbers up to 20, measuring length and exploring fractions.

We have enjoyed participating in Panthers on the Prowl, learning Dharug Language and our excursion to Sydney Zoo.

We can’t wait to see all the learning and growth the Paper Daisies will continue to show throughout the term! ⭐️ 💛

The Sharks have had an amazing Term 3 diving into Panthers on the Prowl! They've enjoyed fantastic games focused on teamwork and communication, fostering strong collaboration skills. Our adventures included an exciting trip to the Sydney Zoo and a special visit from an inspiring author right here at school. These wonderful experiences have truly encouraged a love for education and learning in our class. Here’s to more fun and growth ahead! 📚✨
