Fast Breaks & Unstoppable Energy: 5/6 Boys District Basketball! 🏀
Our Grade 4/5 boys put together a great run at Monday’s District Tournament, going toe-to-toe with tough competition and staying right in the mix all day—huge thanks to our coaches for keeping them focused, our parents for holding down the bleachers, and the whole squad for representing our school so well!

Floor Dives & High Fives: 4/5 Boys District Volleyball! 🏐
Between the dive-and-save hustle, high-five reset energy after every single point, and serves that barely cleared the tape (in the absolute best way), they played with heart from the first whistle to the last set.
Huge thanks to the coaches for keeping them grounded and the sidelines loud. You made us proud, boys! 👏

What a fantastic Athletics Day at Henderson College!

Last Thursday was a beautiful day filled with fierce competition, incredible school spirit, and outstanding sportsmanship across the track and field. Everyone gave it their absolute all!
Highlights from the Day:
Unstoppable Energy: A huge shoutout to our student section for bringing the noise and cheering on every single competitor.
True Sportsmanship: An inspiring display of teamwork, encouragement, and high-fives at the finish line.
Record Breakers: Congrats to all the athletes who pushed their limits and set new personal bests!
A massive thank you to Ms. Johnson, our hardworking staff, volunteers, and parents who made this event run so smoothly. We couldn't have done it without you!

CELEBRATING NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK! 🌱
What an incredible week of discovery we’ve had so far! To celebrate National Science Week, our students have been diving hands-first into the wonderful world of botany, bio-energy, and seed science during lunchtime interactive workshops.

Shoutout to our Year 7/8 Basketball Squads!
Huge round of applause for all our students who competed in the Interschool Basketball Tournament yesterday!
Our Year 7/8 Girls put in a fantastic effort on the court, showing incredible hustle, determination, and improvement in every single game.
Our Year 7/8 Boys fought their way through a tough field all the way to the Finals! While they came up short of the win, their grit and energy were top-tier until the final buzzer.
Beyond the scores, we are exceptionally proud of the outstanding teamwork, and respect shown by all our players throughout the day.
A big thank you to the other schools in our region for a great day of competitive basketball and to all the coaches, referees, and supporters who made the event possible!

Full Speed Ahead in Inquiry!

Our students have been putting their problem-solving and engineering skills to the ultimate test, building and test-driving their very own billy carts!
From brainstorming designs and measuring materials to assembling wheels and taking them for a spin, everyone jumped in with total enthusiasm. It was an incredible hands-on way to explore science, teamwork, and practical design.

An Unforgettable Visit from The Australian Ballet!
Our students had an amazing day with The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team! From jump-starting their creativity in interactive dance workshops to watching a mesmerizing performance of Balar Diburr, it was an incredible experience focused on movement, teamwork, and storytelling.
