Today our Kindergarten children had a visit from Miss McConochie from Brassall State School come and talk to our group of children about Prep next year. The school has been out several times this year to help ease the transition from kindy to big school. All our local schools are currently conducting prep transition days and visits which are great for the children and teaching staff to get to know one another. Thanks for visiting!

Today was our Monster Madness day!!! We had lots of little monsters running around the yard today participating in lots of fun messy activities!! We had kenetic sand, monster bowling, dress ups, monster painting, playdough, dancing and more. We also had monster cupcake cones for afternoon tea - thank you so much Miss Lacy for making them for us!!

📚📚📚This week we have been focusing on READING! 📚📚📚

We participated in National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday reading "Bowerbird Blues" to all the children. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

Today the wonderful ladies from the Ipswich Libraries came to sing and read stories to the children and teach them about the library. The children were in awe and LOVED it! Thank you Katie and Gracie.

Literacy is a vital part of early years education because it can help with cognitive development, social and emotional well-being and future academic skills.

Thank-you to all our beautiful families who were able to attend our mothers day morning tea. We spent the morning celebrating our wonderful mums. We made some lovely memories to cherish and was an amazing way to show our love and care for the special ladies in our lives.

We are looking for donations of old pots, frying pans, baking trays, cupcake trays, saucepans, mixing bowls, utensils - wooden spoons, spatulas ect for our new mud kitchens for the children to make mud pies, stews and potions with!! Thank you
