Resharing a post I originally shared in 2024. I found myself revisiting these questions this week as I have been contemplating the increasing numbers of people outsourcing their humanity to AI and the growing amounts of generic, unoriginal content being shared online. While I see some uses for AI, using it to create those horrible flyers, images and writing content feels transactional and hollow to me. It feels like it sends a message that someone can’t be bothered to create something original, and doesn’t care about relationships or supporting other real people in business. If our business relies on the support of real people then how do we connect with them and build a relationship if we are not bothering to think, write and connect human to human?

I’ve been immersed in a reinvention process work wise this year, stepping into a new role in agroecology alongside the coaching, facilitation and agricultural extension work I do at Reinventing Agriculture. I finally found some time today to start updating our website to better reflect what I’m focusing on in my private coaching practice.

This creative process always takes me longer than I expect and there’s still lots more work to be done. I will not outsource my thinking, writing or content creation to AI and become another generic, machine written website or social media site. Is any one else longing to see more authentic, human written content?

Join us for our first Dairy Convo with Chris Eggert from Oxhill Organics, whose family’s farming journey has focused on improving soil health, building resilience and adapting their farming system over time.
Chris will share practical insights and lessons from their transition toward farming practices that regenerate soils and landscapes for resilient dairy systems, including navigating flood recovery and extended dry periods. There’ll also be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
