๐๐ Could you be our next P&C Treasurer?
We're looking for a parent or carer to join the Indooroopilly State School P&C Executive as Treasurer, stepping into the role for the remainder of 2026 and joining a dynamic and purposeful team as we look ahead to 2027.
This is a great opportunity to get involved now, learn the role, work alongside our current Executive and Bookkeeper, and make a meaningful contribution to our school community.
The Treasurer plays an important role in helping our P&C remain financially healthy, accountable and sustainable- supporting the Executive to make informed decisions and ensuring the funds raised by our school community are managed responsibly.
What does the role involve?
๐ฐ Overseeing the P&C's finances, accounts and payments
๐ Preparing budgets and financial reports
๐ Maintaining financial records and reporting requirements
๐ค Working with the Executive and our bank
๐ฑ Helping ensure the P&C is financially strong and sustainable
And you won't be doing it alone.
The Treasurer is supported by our P&C Bookkeeper, providing practical support with the day-to-day financial administration.

You don't need to be a professional accountant. If you have financial, bookkeeping or accounting experience, enjoy working with numbers, or simply have a good eye for detail and organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
