Girraween Primary School NT Girraween Primary School is located in the outer rural area of Darwin, approximately 35 km South - East of the C*D.

Girraween Primary School prides itself on being a community school. In 2012, we won the NT Smart School: Excellence in Community Engagement award. Our school is surrounded by bush and our grounds incorporate many places for students to relax, play and imagine. Our school farm is a perfect catalyst for our sustainability programs and our students enjoy caring for the animals and harvesting the vege

tables. Girraween Primary School's motto is Rising to the Challenge and our 5 Core Values or Seeds of Success are: Respect, Personal Best, Fairness, Responsibility and Care. These values form the basis of our behaviour management processes and our students are all very familiar with and strive to live by them at all times. Parents are partners in the education of their child and we aim to work together to help every child reach their full potential. Does your child turn 4 before the 30th of June 2027? If you answered yes, then please join us for our 2027 Preschool Information Night on Tuesday the 13th of October at 5pm. Our Preschool team will be sharing information about the engaging and play-based learning program we run at Girraween Preschool, what to expect when your child starts Preschool, and will be able to answer any other questions you might have. Congratulations to our amazing choir members on their fantastic BEAT performance last night! 🎶✨

Performing alongside 200 choir members in front of a live audience, (along with orchestra, soloists and dancers), was an incredible opportunity and a wonderful display of the arts. 🎤🎭

We are so proud of the confidence, talent and enthusiasm our students brought to the stage. What a memorable experience! 👏🌟🎶
