Dear Leapfrog families,
Our appointments for the remainder of Term 2 are included on our new calendar posted here.
We have a couple of exciting outings planned for which our usual meet up time (and place for TMAG) will change so please check the start time carefully for those days.
There are also some additional events I have included: some whole school appointments which our Launching into Learning families are warmly invited to attend and some free Festival of Voices events which look like they could be great for our Leapfrogs.
Please reach out if you have any wonderings.
We will see you in the classroom this week to engage our imagination!
Warm winter regards,
Sally

Our Autumn Adventure will go inside the Kinder Yellow classroom today!
The BOM is still showing that the rain will clear and the sun will come out by 9.30 today but it is hard to have faith with this much rain still coming down. Our Botanical Gardens meet up has been cancelled and we will take our Autumn Adventure inside today.
See you all in the classroom at 9.30 today!

Did you leave something behind at Leapfrogs today?
These items are in our lost property basket in the locker room next to our Leapfrogs classroom (accessible from 8.30-9 am on school days) or at Leapfrogs next week!

Kinder enrolments for 2027 are now open for children born in 2022 who are living in the LCPS catchment area or with siblings already enrolled at the school. For families living out of the catchment area, an expression of interest may be lodged with our office.
Malia Stagg from our enrolment team will be attending Leapfrogs this coming Thursday (14th May) to answer any specific questions about Kinder enrolments or the out of area expression of interest process.
Please reach out to Malia if you have any questions in the meantime: [email protected]

Dear Leapfrog families,
Thank you all for the contribution you make to our thriving Lansdowne learning community. Term 1 has been a dynamic and vibrant start to the year. It has been joyful to watch the developing connections between our leapfrog learners broaden and deepen. Thanks to you all for your consistency and commitment to our regular meet ups.
I am attaching the calendar for Leapfrogs for Weeks 1-4 of Term 2. I have also highlighted some community events in the Term 2 calendars which are not part of the Leapfrogs program but which provide fantastic opportunities for community engagement and learning for our littlest ones.
Please reach out if you have any wonderings.
I am looking forward to seeing you all in Term 2.
Warm regards,
Sally

We are very excited about our Peter Rabbit picnic tomorrow!
If you have a special Easter bonnet, bring it along, or join us in the Early Years Playground at 9:30 for some creative inspiration for our celebration.
We will enjoy an egg hunt (no chocolate involved), an egg and spoon race and decorating eggs too!
We are hoping for a visit from a special cotton tailed friend too! ;)

Last week's meeting at Knocklofty Reserve was a true celebration of our little learners' connection, creativity and resilience!
See you all next week in our Early Years area for our Peter Rabbit Picnic!

Dear Leapfrog families,
Please be advised that Leapfrogs Launching into Learning will be cancelled this week. We were due to meet in the Kinder Yellow Classroom to explore the power of play.
Due to planned industrial action by the Australian Education Union, we can now confirm that our school will be closed to
students on Thursday 26 March.
Our Launching into Learning program will resume next Thursday, 2nd April with our Peter Rabbit picnic in the Early Years area.
See you all on Thursday, 2nd April!
Warm regards,
Sally

Welcome back to Leapfrogs for 2026!
We are excited to announce that Leapfrogs is on this week, Thursday 19th February. We will start off our 2026 year outside in our new and improved mud kitchen!
The end of 2025 heralded a few small changes in our Early Years playground including a new sand pit and mud kitchen. Thanks to our School Community Association SCA for funding these improvements! These were both much loved features of our playground previously and we know our littlest learners will love the new layout and features even more.
Our Term 1 calendar is attached with lots of learning and get togethers planned outside in Term 1.
Please spread the word among friends and family that Leapfrogs is back on. If you know of someone new who would like to join our community, please bring them along. We always welcome newcomers. If you have any wonderings or great ideas to share, please reach out.
Looking forward to seeing you all outside this week!
Sally
