"There’s precise rhythm in McLean’s writing... and this psychological piece is as much about Ann’s deep-set fear of mortality and her place in the world, which coincides with her daughter’s burgeoning adolescence, as it is an entertaining noir murder mystery..."

"These shows may go under the radar for the second year lost within the sheer volume of events at Dark M**o. If you get the chance, this is one of the most interesting events of the lot – a triumph of writing and performance that is sure to capture your imagination."
Another amazing review.... by Rhys Anderson for theMusic.com.au.

Thank you to The Mercury Newspaper for this article. With a moment now to reflect, we really want to thank Dark M**o for giving us the opportunity to present new theatre works to such a great festival audience, it is a rare and special opportunity. And thank you to Salamanca Arts Centre, who supported the development of ep 2 & 3 through their HyPe (Hybrid Performance) Program through the Australia Council for the Arts.
Fright and sound in radio show IT is a live radio performance as moody and atmospheric as Dark M**o, with a dungeon full of twisted sound effects guaranteed to have hairs standing on end.

"In no other live performance have I ever felt so strongly caught within the fabrics of the performance media and their created worlds. With ‘Radio Gothic’ the audience watches a theatre show of a performance of a sound play in an endless feedback loop of construction and deconstruction. Radio Gothic provides a truly unique theatre and sound performance experience."

Introducing the cast of Episodes 2 & 3!
Craig Irons has worked extensively in theatre and film as both a performer and creative. Recent TV work includes THE NIGHTINGALE, ROSEHAVEN, HOUSE HUSBANDS, and theatre work ALICE IN WONDERLAND WHEELER'S LUCK. After Radio Gothic he will be musical director for WHAT RYMES WITH CARS AND GIRLS the Tasmanian Theatre Company.
Craig played the role of the ill-fated prisoner guard in Radio Gothic's Episode 1, as well as performing a lot of the foley for the show. He's got even more of a foley challenge this year, with multiple characters and sound FX across Episode 2 & 2.
The show opens TONIGHT, 7 June, and runs until Sunday 11 June. Tickets available online or on the door an hour before the show (unless sold out)
