Nature Play - take a step back and observe your child at play

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Over the summer I had planned on running some small nature play sessions, however I have decided to put these sessions on hold as COVID spreads quickly around our beautiful island.

Providing children with a safe environment to grow and develop is one of the most important things to me and currently I feel that I cannot ensure that I can keep everyone safe.

Spending time outside is a great way to reduce the spread of infection, but am I also aware that these sessions are developed to meet the needs of young children who cannot be vaccinated.

I’m hoping that once things calm down, that I can start facilitating some nature play and yoga sessions for your children.

In the meantime, find a nice quiet space outside and enjoy connecting with nature.

I had such a wonderful weekend learning about Tasmanian Aboriginal culture at the Cataract Gorge and connecting with Country. The session ended with some bush craft fun, painting with ochre and making wreaths with snotty vine. I can’t wait to share these experiences in some nature play sessions soon. Watch this space for more information to come!
