Divinity blossoms where women are respected.
We have now entered the auspicious time of Navarātri (nine nights of Mother Divine) on the Vedic calendar (11-20 October).
Navarātri which happens two times per year, is in devotion to goddess Durga, and her many feminine forms. During this time, we honour and embrace Durga’s slaying of the demons of ignorance, with the tale of Durga (depicted with her sword and trishula/trident riding on a lion) slaying the evil Mahishasura over 10 days. Therefore, increased meditation practice and devotional practices are more supported, potent and powerful than other time, eliminating our own ignorant qualities that keep us from greatness!
Move towards all that feels right, honour the creative force within you, answer the calls of your heart.
Jai Ma!
