Today our children celebrated World Bug & Insect Day with a sensory exploration! Using magnifying glasses, natural materials, flowers, leaves, and insect specimens, the children enjoyed investigating the fascinating world of bugs and insects.

Today our Tiny Tots explored the outdoors and collected leaves and natural treasures from the garden to create a beautiful nature collage. Using paintbrushes and a variety of leaves, the children enjoyed expressing their creativity while developing their fine motor skills and exploring the natural world around them.

Our Nursery 2 children had a wonderful time exploring our ocean themed sensory tray today! Using droppers, the children carefully added blue water to create their own ocean scenes while discovering shells, sea creatures, and different textures.

Today our Tiny Tots children explored a beautiful ocean themed sensory space in celebration of World Ocean Day! Using magnifying glasses, shells, sea creatures, and glowing sensory materials, the children investigated what can be found in the ocean while engaging their curiosity and imagination.

This week for Reconciliation Week, our children explored Australian animals through imaginative play and discovery. ❤️💛🖤

The children enjoyed learning about native animals found across Australia while engaging in conversations, storytelling and hands-on exploration. Experiences like these help children build connections to our land, culture and the unique wildlife around us. 🦘🍃

Using coloured rice inspired by the Aboriginal flag, the children used brushes and their hands to search for hidden treasures underneath while developing their fine motor skills, curiosity and understanding through play. What a beautiful way to spark conversations and learning together. 🍃✨
