Bella Vintage Resources Repurposed Sustainable Resources for Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Bringing new life into pre loved items. Has this item travelled near or far?

I love the wonder of the story behind an item who was the person who loved this before us? Was it a gift full of love or heartfelt thanks? Engaging the children in the story of these repurposed items will encourage them to connect with the resource; this will bring a shared respect and broaden their understanding of the world they live in. What better way to breathe new life into an item, by being part of the next generation’s play, to spark their curiosity and open up their minds to a world of creativity, imagination and diversity. My hope is that these resources connect your service, families and children to build relationships with the past and become part of embedding sustainability for the future.

Thank you for embracing the wet weather for our session today. We had a fun filled morning

🗞BREAKING NEWS WILDFLOWERS FAMILY
🥚the last 2 eggs have hatched.
🥶 It was touch and go for one of them this morning when I found the chick hatched but very cold, with a little bit of warmth and love, it was moving and chirping.
🍮Caramel has been the sweetest mumma, showing them how to eat and drink and keeping them safe and watm. Good work mumma chicken.
😍The families that are booked for tomorrow's session are in for a springtime treat, chicken little love

🌻Exciting news for all our 'Wildflowers sustainable nature based playgroup' families, chicken friends, bok bok lovers and chick chick feeders.
🐣After sitting on her eggs for 21 days our sweet girl Caramel hatched her first little chick today.
🤞We have our fingers crossed that the other 2 eggs will hatch tomorrow.
✨️Great work Caramel we are so proud of you. Such a great chick mumma.

We are introducing "Belonging Rocks" to our Wildflowers sustainable nature based playgroup sessions. Each child will create their own rock, with their name on it, they will be kept in a basket and when your child attends a session they will find their rock, place it in the "I'm Here Basket" to sign in. This supports the child's sense of belonging in a space and says I'm important here 🪨 Looking forward to seeing the children's creations 🎨
