Vincent, Vincent or Vincent. Van Go, Van Goff, or Van Gokh? However you pronounce it, one thing’s certain, Vinnie painted his feelings with sparkle and gusto.

It can be tricky to get our lips around certain names in the art world. For me, and maybe you too, it’s more about the stories and adventures that the masters translate for us with their swirls of colour than the tongue-tie of pronunciation. Every brushstroke is a story, and every colour a confession. Turning the ordinary into something that hums with feeling is the foundation of a great tale, not the name of the protagonist. And that is what we do best: we tell creative tales of the artists behind the masterpieces.

From the quiet farmlands of the Netherlands to the sunflower fields of southern France, Vincent Van Gogh saw the world in colour and emotion first, outlines later. And maybe that’s what creativity really is, seeing the world in your own way, turning the ordinary into something that glows with passion.

With that, we are insanely emotional (our auras are a kaleidoscope of feelings) to reveal our new home @3ravens in Thornbury. Where better in Melbourne to hold a Post Impressionist art class for a beginner, an intermediate or even a bu****it artist. Come one, come all!
‘Being off the beaten track, it feels like you’ve stumbled across a secret inner-north boozer that even the locals are lucky to know about.’ Wait til you see the wallpaper…swoon. So tip over the beige vibes of the ol’ Paint and Sip in exchange for Palette and Pint with us at 3 Raverns.

Learn acrylic painting and collage techniques inspired by Van Gogh, Matisse, Cézanne and Toulouse-Lautrec in our fun, creative Melbourne workshop. Learn the creative skills to tell your story. We all have tales of colour to tell. Sometimes, it just takes a paintbrush, a pint and a brilliant Post Impressionist art workshop.
