We're thrilled to be welcoming back Kentaro Yoshida to the UTS College campus this month. ✨

From UTS College student to internationally recognised illustrator, Kentaro Yoshida has worked with brands a creative could only dream of (think Apple, Converse, Blink 182, just to name a few). He's had artwork displayed on the Sydney Opera House, and his own exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW.

Across two weeks, our student community will have the opportunity to watch him create a large-scale mural in real time, as well as learn from him in a series of workshops and talks.

Our Diploma of Animation Production is in its third year, and our classrooms are buzzing with the next generation of animators, including students like Qiyuan.

The diploma equips students with the foundational skills every animator needs from the 12 principles of animation to 3D animation and stop motion. With those foundations in place, graduates are ready to step into the workforce or take the next step into the Bachelor of Creative Production in Animation at UTS.

Souad Cheikho cried when she saw her ATAR. A week later, she was screaming with happiness.

What happened in between? A late-night Google search, an application to she almost didn't send, and a pathway she never knew existed.

Souad had her heart set on studying Journalism at UTS, but her results said otherwise. A Diploma of Communication at UTS College led her to a future she never could have predicted.
