Stop by before your exam and grab yourself free snacks, a bottle of water, and some spare stationary. If you've forgotten your calculator on the day, then never fear, we're selling them on the spot!

If you suddenly feel sick or there's extraordinary circumstances impacting your ability to sit your exam, you may be eligible for Special Consideration.

Here's the three things you need to know:

- You have three working days (until 5pm) from your assessment or exam date to apply via the SPC portal. ELICOS is 2 working days.

- If you get sick during an exam, you must leave the room within the first hour to be eligible for medical consideration.

- You will need independent supporting evidence. If applying for medical reasons you will need a Medical Impact Statement.

We’re looking for bright Swinburne leaders who are looking to gain hands-on experience in helping SSA deliver exciting campus events and services.

As an SSA Squad member, you’ll enjoy a collaborative team environment, with weekly shifts that work flexibly to accommodate your studies, class timetable, and work life/balance. You’ll also gain invaluable experience for your resume!

Some of the areas you’ll assist in as an SSA Squad member:

FoodHub Program
The FoodHub Program runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Thursday, providing free pantry items to students in need. You’ll gain real-world experience in coordination, logistics, and service delivery—skills that translate directly into professional workplace environments.

Breakfast Program
Lead the delivery of our daily Breakfast Program, serving free morning meals across campus to help students start their day right. Operating from 7:30am to 10:30am, Monday to Friday, this role develops your ability to manage high-paced environments, engage with diverse audiences, and work efficiently as part of a team.

Events and Activation Program
Help bring Swinburne campus to life every week with our range of interactive events, cultural celebrations, and awareness campaigns. Our weekly events typically run from 11:00am to 2:00pm each Wednesday, giving you hands-on exposure to event operations, setup, and public engagement—ideal for anyone looking to explore communications, marketing, or event management.

Hourly Rate: $34.95 per hour (as of 1 July 2026)

Come by for a bedazzling event where you can decorate books any small item with dazzling rhinestones and embellishments. Whether you’re creating something cute, classy, or completely over-the-top, all crafting supplies will be provided; just bring your imagination! This event will take place on Wednesday, 3 June in GS217. Come solo or bring your friends!

👉️ Swinburne Music Society, Swinburne University Snow Squad, Swinimation, Swinburne eSports, Swinburne Philosophy and Ethics Club, and Brains, Minds, & Machines – Countdown: to End of Semester!

It's time to Countdown: to End of Semester! Hosted at Next D'Or Tapas & Bar on Friday 12, June, this exciting, multi-club event is the perfect way to unwind at the end of semester. Tickets are just $5 each, with every attendee receiving two free drink tokens on arrival. Come along and enjoy an evening of games, trivia, and live music!
