POV: you design a mascot and it’s now come to life on campus 👀
Meet the creative team behind Blaze: Tracy, Mei and Eric! Inspired by their Swinburne experience, our iconic Hawthorn campus and Australian flora and fauna, the trio came together to create a mascot that would represent the whole Swinburne community.
We spoke with two of the designers Tracy and Mei to hear about the creative process behind Blaze and what it was like seeing something they designed come to life.

On Tuesday, 25 August, get ready for a day of food trucks, Gay Stuff Markets, pride-themed activities, and live entertainment at this campus-wide outdoor celebration.
