New this year are my Horse Wisdom workshops.

Held twice a month and designed for those people who have horses or aspire to own one in the future and want to get the best from their horse and look after it how the horse would like and based on my 50yrs of experience with a lot of different horses.

Several different topics will be covered each session and will be selected according to what participants are interested in or need help with. Some of the topics covered in recent workshops with some of my students have been - care of older horses, hoof care and learning to trim, teeth care, eye care, rugging, feeding, liberty work and ground skills to enhance relationships with horses, retraining racehorses or abused horses, young horse training, first aid and injury care.

Time: 3-5hrs
Numbers: min 2 to max 8
Cost: $50-$75 depending on numbers and whether you are doing one or two workshops or lessons per month

Winter School Holidays are just around the corner. Once again i will be offering a limited number of days this school holidays for this unique country outdoor experience with some amazing horses, ponies (and donkey, goats, dogs and chickens) on a picturesque property. Get them off the gadgets for a while! With over 50 yrs experience with horses and a background in teaching i will challenge them to use their problem solving skills with a games-based approach both off the horses and on them.

Please text me on 0408709515 if you are interested, with your child’s NAME, AGE, approximate WEIGHT, experience including any learning difficulties, plus times and dates you CAN do and CAN’T do and i will offer you a spot if there is a suitable one available.

Prices are on poster.

Common questions

If your child is on the younger side or has special needs then yes you are able to stay and assist them if needed.
If doing the full day they will need lunch and a waterbottle/morning tea and water bottle if doing a half day.
Long sleeved collared shirts and stretchy long pants and closed in shoes or boots is best attire.
Helmets are provided or byo.
Property is situated just south of Harrisville and directions are provided with booking and payment.

Merry Xmas everyone. Weather has been rather wet so took some time off. Will be offering some fun programs with horses for ages 5-15yrs in January school holidays. Beginners to experienced can be catered for in groups of 4-8 depending on experience and suitable activities will be chosen.

One of my 4 pony stallions. This guy produces beautiful kids ponies with great looks, movement and temperaments who are just coming of age and being used in my programs with kids. We can cater for beginners to advanced and NDIS. 5-15yrs age group depending on child's ability. Due to the size of horses there is a weight limit of 80kg. Venue is near Harrisville
