Insect Art with Natural Materials
Children explored insects by looking at a book and observing pictures of butterflies and caterpillars. They collected leaves and used them to create their own insect art on paper. The children showed interest in choosing different shapes and colours of leaves and carefully placed them to form insects.

Children engaged in a sorting and matching activity using toy animals and coloured directional cards. They explored placing each animal on the correct coloured arrow, showing curiosity and focus. The children used their fine motor skills to pick up and position the animals carefully.

This Montessori activity supported children’s independence and self-directed learning. They showed patience and engagement while practising folding skills.

Children engaged in a hands-on sensory activity using chickpeas, a brush, and a dustpan. They explored scooping, sweeping, and transferring the chickpeas into the tray and container. The children showed good hand-eye coordination and concentration while using the tools.
