This term Year 2 students have been learning about communities in Australia and how with time the look of communities may change but the idea of togetherness stays the same. Students have been learning about indigenous communities, communities during the settler times and then how it is different and the same now. As part of this unit students went and visited Coal Creek Community Park and Museum to see how a community would have looked in a different time. Including how people would live and come together at school, at home and in the township.
