We're getting LOUD to empower kids with hearing loss to connect, communicate and thrive.

With early intervention these children can go on to achieve their full potential, goals and dreams along with their hearing peers.

On Friday the 18th September students will be dismissed at 1:14pm (And no afternoon VET classes will be running) as it is the last day of Term 3. If you have any questions about the upcoming break or Term 4 please contact your child's sub school.

Last Tuesday the year 9 students hosted the Market Day they had been planning throughout this term. The day was a huge success, and they have managed to raise over $800 which will be donated to a charity which will be voted by the whole year level.

Each stall was well organised, and all the students worked incredibly hard on the day in the kitchen preparing their food, setting up the tables and stalls with their posters and menus, all throughout lunchtime selling their products or performing, and finally packing up and cleaning the yard.

A special thank you to Urban Crust who supplied our pizzas and gave us a very generous discount.

They have also offered us a special code for any of the Hallam School community for a 20% discount on the whole menu, including the Halal range.

The students have shown a great capacity in their enterprise and leadership skills, taking on this huge task with enthusiasm and excitement. We can’t wait to see what else this year level has to bring to our Hallam school community.

💛 Today is R U OK? Day 💛
Today we’re checking in, connecting and reminding each other that a conversation can make a difference.

A simple "are you okay?" can make a real difference, and we want every student and family to feel confident asking it. Checking in on someone doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be genuine.

Take the time to listen, check in and let someone know they’re not alone. Because looking out for each other isn’t just for one day - it’s something we can do every day.

If they say they’re not okay, the R U OK? website has helpful steps to guide the conversation, show your support, and connect them with strategies and resources to manage the load. If they are okay, they’ll know you’re someone who cares enough to ask.

20th anniversary of 4Cs at Bunjil Place on Monday 31st August.

Held at Bunjil Place on Monday 31st August, students from Years 3 to 12 across the City of Casey and Melbourne, presented a vibrant showcase celebrating cultural diversity and student creativity through performance and visual arts.

This showcase and exhibition empowers students from diverse cultural backgrounds to explore, express, and share their heritage while upholding the core values of inclusivity, respect, and integrity.

Students represented Tongan, Samoan and Māori cultures and we are so proud of how well they represented Hallam Secondary College.

On Tuesday, our Year 12 VM students ran our Colour Run after planning the event throughout the year!

It was fantastic to see so many students get involved and help raise $700 for headspace Narre Warren, supporting youth mental health in our community. 💚

A great reminder that the world is more colourful with you in it. 🌈

On Tuesday 8th September the year 9 launch classes are running Market Day at lunchtime in the lower courtyard

All of the Year 9 launch classes have been working really hard to organise the Market Day stalls. The stalls will be providing some delicious food such as loaded fries, pizza, desserts and drinks as well as fun games and activities

Hallam tokens
All students can now purchase tokens from the front office. Tokens are $1 each, and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash

All money made will be donated to a charity of the Year 9 students' choice.
