Today after preschool, our educators completed their annual CPR training!

We complete CPR training every 12 months to ensure our educators keep their skills and knowledge up to date and feel confident responding to an emergency if needed.

It was a great refresher for the team, helping us stay prepared and continue providing a safe environment for all of our children. ❤️

Today our preschoolers had such a special day celebrating NAIDOC at Yenda Public School. 🌿

Our children proudly began the celebration by doing the Acknowledgement of Country and singing “Barramundi” using Wiradjuri language. It was so lovely to see them confidently sharing their culture and language with everyone. 🖤💛❤️

We then enjoyed a cultural lesson with Uncle Allan, who shared his knowledge and culture with the students.

There were lots of different workshops happening throughout the classrooms. Aunty Tegan and Aunty Mary ran an ochre workshop and painted around 150 students, as well as our preschoolers!

Aunty Amanda worked with the students to create a beautiful canvas, while Aunty Carolyn read a lovely story to the children.

Aunty Shailyn and Aunty Kez made delicious Johnny Cakes, and the wonderful teachers at Yenda Public School treated us to yummy sausage sandwiches for lunch!

A huge thank you to all the staff and students at Yenda Public School for welcoming us and making us feel so comfortable. We had such a fun day filled with culture, language, learning, sharing, art, food and lots of smiles!

We are so proud of our little ones for getting up in front of everyone and sharing their culture. 🌿🧡

Thank you Yenda Public School — we had the best day! 🖤💛❤️

Today our preschool children had a wonderful visit to Griffith Base Hospital! 🏥💙

The children had the opportunity to have their arm “plastered” just like a real patient and even had their vital signs checked by the friendly hospital staff. They were so brave, curious, and excited to learn about what happens in a hospital.

A big thank you to the amazing staff at Griffith Base Hospital for making our visit such a fun and educational experience! 🌟

Today, our educators participated in a Healthy Eating Learning Experiences Workshop with Elshaddai from Munch & Move.

The workshop provided practical ideas, resources, and inspiration to support children in developing healthy eating habits through fun, engaging learning experiences. We look forward to incorporating these new ideas into our daily program and continuing to promote healthy lifestyles for all children.

A big thank you to Elshaddai and the Munch & Move team for an informative and engaging session! 🥗🍎💚

🖤💛❤️ NAIDOC Week Recap ❤️💛🖤

We've had such a wonderful week celebrating NAIDOC Week.

A big thank you to Aunty Carolyn Williams Artwork for coming in to read stories, play games and draw with the children. They loved having you here, and we're looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow!

We were also honoured to have Uncle Allan lead a Smoking Ceremony with our children and educators, sharing culture and helping us celebrate this special week together.

We also enjoyed family lunch with delicious curried sausages and curried chicken cooked by Aunty Kelly and Aunty Tanya, while Aunty Ange made fresh Johnny cakes over the fire.

Tomorrow we're heading to the park to finish off a wonderful week of celebrating culture, community and connection.

A big thank you to everyone who has helped make this week's celebrations so special. 🖤💛❤️
