The Tharbogang Public School community is heartbroken to hear of the passing of Allan Wallett “Al”.
For our students and staff, Al was so much more than our school bus driver. He was a familiar and friendly face, someone who became part of the fabric of our school community. His big smile, warm heart and wonderful sense of character made him instantly recognisable and so very easy to love.
Al had a way of making people feel welcome. Whether it was a smile, a wave, a quick chat or simply seeing him arrive for drop off's and pick up's in the school bus, those little moments became part of our everyday school life. He truly was one of a kind, and his absence will be deeply felt.
We will miss that big smile and the wonderful person our students and staff had come to know and care about.
Our heartfelt condolences go to Allan’s family and friends. We hope they can take some comfort in knowing just how much Al was thought of and how fondly he will be remembered by our Tharbogang Public School community.
Thank you for all the smiles, Al. You will be missed more than words can say.
