he Hon Mark Butler, Minister for Health and Aged Care launching the Economic Impact of Stroke Report from Stroke Foundation at . Some sobering stats (1 stroke every 11 minutes costing $9 billion every year). The good news is the report highlights potential to save money and also to save lives and enhance recovery.

The Stroke Foundation seed grant round is open!! This grant round offers a range of opportunities for research affiliates and research teams to test ideas in stroke prevention, treatment and recovery.
Future leaders (both research affiliates AND people with lived experience of stroke) are also encouraged to apply for a Future Leader grant and develop their skills.
Applications close Thursday, August 1, 5pm AEST.

This grant round will offer a range of opportunities for stroke research teams across Australia to test their ideas in stroke prevention, treatment and recovery. Our aim is for diversity in the grants we award. Applications with a focus on priority populations are encouraged in all grant categories....
