Some sobering stats (1 stroke every 11 minutes costing $9 billion every year). The good news is the report highlights potential to save money and also to save lives and enhance recovery.

Current grants 12/06/2024

The Stroke Foundation seed grant round is open!! This grant round offers a range of opportunities for research affiliates and research teams to test ideas in stroke prevention, treatment and recovery.

Future leaders (both research affiliates AND people with lived experience of stroke) are also encouraged to apply for a Future Leader grant and develop their skills.

Applications close Thursday, August 1, 5pm AEST.
