Recently, 20 Year 7 students participated in Full STEAM Ahead, a three-week program delivered in partnership with Commonwealth Bank and Powerhouse. Students took part in coding workshops and participated in a Hackathon, developing their skills in design thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, coding and prototyping.

We would like to thank the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) and the Commonwealth Bank mentors for providing this valuable opportunity to our students.

It's been great to have recent success through our Cross Country program. Students had a great carnival recently at Mount Annan Botanical Gardens. We had 33 students represent GHHS at Zone, and 4 students' progress to Regionals. Congratulations to Tara who has made it to State! Congratulations to all.

GHHS is proud to acknowledge National Reconciliation Week and the achievements of our Aboriginal students. Congratulations to Logan for his participation in a National Sorry Day Performance this week at Mount Annan Botanical Gardens.

Our Year 9 Future Teachers have started a 5-week 'placement' at Mount Annan Public School 🏫 They will visit once a week to observe and support small groups before going on to teach a whole class. We look forward to seeing them thrive and grow with confidence! Thank you Ms Hamilton and the teachers at MAPS for their collaboration.
