Help Us Share Some Christmas Cheer

This Christmas, our Parents & Friends Committee is once again collecting gifts for elderly members of our community who may be spending the festive season without family or loved ones.

This year, we hope to support residents at both ARCARE Craigieburn and Corpus Christi Community Greenvale, and we'd love your help!

Simply donate a small gift suitable for an elderly man or woman and drop it off at Main Reception by Thursday 13 November. Gifts should be unwrapped or placed in an open Christmas gift bag.

Every gift, no matter how small, can bring joy, comfort and connection to someone this Christmas.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community.

Parents and students will decorate gift bags for the Handover HeARTwork Project, which will be donated to the Palliative Care Unit at Northern Hospital, helping bring a little colour, creativity and care to patients and their families.

Science Week was a blast at our St Clare of Assisi Campus (Greenvale) and St Catherine of Bologna Campus (Mickleham).

Students dove into hands-on activities like Colour Explosion, Paper Plane Competitions, Lava Lamp Making, Science Animal Illusions, Seed Paper crafting, Lip Balm creation, Fire Bubbles, and everyone's favourite...making ice cream with liquid nitrogen!

What an exciting week of discovery and creativity across both campuses.

Our annual College Reunion brought together alumni and staff for a memorable afternoon, made even better by perfect weather. This year, we had a special reason to celebrate - the Class of 2016 marked their 10-year anniversary.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces in the STEAM Centre, sharing stories, catching up with teachers, and exploring just how much the College has changed. The tour of the grounds definitely sparked some nostalgia! Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a warm, joyful gathering.

CREATE & CONNECT IS BACK!

Join us for another special Parent–Student Activity as we come together to create something meaningful for our community.

This time, we’ll be inspired by colourful collage style, using bold colours, shapes and layers to create unique artwork on gift bags for the Handover HeARTwork Project.

The finished bags will be donated to the Palliative Care Unit at Northern Hospital, helping bring a little colour, creativity and care to patients and their families.

Last week, both campuses gathered to celebrate our annual Feast Day, a wonderful chance for the Kolbe Catholic College community to come together in faith and honour the legacy of St Maximilian Kolbe.

The day began with a heartfelt Mass, bringing us together in reflection and gratitude. Excitement filled the air as Kolbe’s Got Talent made its much-anticipated return! Our talented students took to the Stadium stage, sharing their incredible gifts.

From there, the festivities only grew. Delicious food truck treats, a giant slide, inflatable obstacle course, rides, games, and a silent disco had everyone smiling. We also enjoyed a petting zoo, face painting, craft activities, and live bands providing a fantastic soundtrack to the day.

From start to finish, it was a day that truly captured the heart of our Kolbe family.

Last week, our Kolbe Catholic College community coloured the streets of Greenvale in a sea of purple as both our campuses came together with special guests for our Walk Against Domestic Violence. 💜

Through our Walk Against Domestic Violence, we raised awareness, shared hope, and showed support for all those affected.

Every step we take is a commitment to breaking the cycle and creating a safer future for everyone.
