Nurturing future generations, supporting modern families and building communities

26/06/2026

The children in our kindergarten studios enjoyed an excursion to Under 8s Day at Greenabnk State School. The children had the opportunity to explore, play, and connect with others in our community. Being involved in community events helps children build confidence, develop social skills, and create a sense of belonging. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they learned through fun, hands-on experiences and made lasting memories together!

Happy International Sushi Day! 🍣

Today, our amazing Chef Tamara visited each room and made sushi with the children. They had so much fun getting hands-on, creating their own sushi rolls and trying something new. The smiles on their faces say it all, the children absolutely loved this experience!

😊🀟 Exploring Emotions Through Sign Language 🀟😊

As part of our morning transition routine, the toddlers spend time with Miss Jess at the sign-in door, where they locate their photo and choose the emotion that best reflects how they are feeling that day. This meaningful experience encourages children to recognise and express their emotions, supports their sense of belonging, and helps educators understand how they are feeling as they begin their day.

Learning sign language gives children another way to express themselves, especially when they may not yet have the words to explain how they are feeling. By recognising and communicating emotions, children are developing important social and emotional skills, building self-awareness, and strengthening their ability to connect with others.
