Dear Parents and Residents,

We would like to remind everyone that there is currently no lollipop crossing supervisor on Norfolk Road to assist our students crossing the road in the morning and afternoon.

We kindly ask all drivers to slow down, remain vigilant and take extra care around the school.

Please remember to only drop off your children in the designated Kiss and Drop zone and do not stop or drop children off in the middle of the road, as this creates a serious safety risk for our students and other road users.

We thank you for your patience and understanding while we work with Council to arrange another crossing supervisor.

3-Way Goal-Setting Interview Bookings

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to let you know that 3-Way Goal-Setting Interview bookings are now open! These interviews provide a wonderful opportunity for students, parents/carers and teachers to come together to celebrate student progress, discuss learning goals and work collaboratively to support each child’s continued growth and success.

Bookings close: Monday, 24 August 2026. Bookings are made through the School Bytes Parent Portal. Please refer to the attached flyer for further details and the video for step-by-step instructions on how to make your booking. Please refer to the red notification banner on your dashboard to access the live booking platform or navigate to the Interviews section to process the bookings in real time.

The 10-minute interview sessions will commence from Wednesday, 26 August, with the main afternoon session taking place after school.

Location:

- Support Unit: Block A
- Early Stage 1 (Kindergarten): Stage 1 Withdrawal Room
- Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2): AP, C&I Demountable
- Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4): School Hall
- Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6): School Hall

There will also be before- and after-school interview bookings available from Wednesday, 26 August through to Monday, 31 August to provide families with a range of options and greater flexibility.
We encourage all families to make a booking so that we can work together to support and celebrate your child's learning and wellbeing.

If you require assistance with making a booking through the School Bytes Parent Portal, please contact your child's classroom teacher or our school office, who will be happy to assist.

Congratulations to our Public Speaking runners-up (pictured left) and our stage finalists and winners (pictured right)! 👏👏

We are so proud of all our students for giving their very best and demonstrating such confidence and dedication throughout the competition.

We would like to wish our winners the very best as they proceed to the next round, where they will compete against students from other schools. We wish them every success! 🌟

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our Public Speaking Coordinators, Mrs Hawchar and Mrs Hablos, and to our judges, Mrs Warde and Mrs Georgiou, for their time, support and dedication.

As Thursday approaches, we warmly invite our parents and families to join us for our Book Week Character Parade!

Please arrive on time for your child’s scheduled session so you don’t miss any of the fun. Parents are also encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character and join in the parade! 🎭📖

We can’t wait to celebrate a wonderful day of books and fun, coming together as one whole school community. 💛

Farewell, Norma ❤️

Today we would like to thank and sadly farewell our wonderful crossing lady, Norma, who has been a much-loved part of our school community for many years.

Norma has gone above and beyond every single day to ensure our students arrive and leave school safely. Her care, dedication and friendly presence have meant so much to our students, families and staff.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Norma has done for our school and will miss her dearly.
