Our Lady of Mercy was the original school established in Goulburn by the Sisters of Mercy with Our Lady of Sorrows following in 1954. These schools were amalgamated in 1979 and in1986 the school amalgamated with St Patrick’s Primary to become Ss Peter and Paul's Parish Primary School. Ss Peter and Paul's School is renowned for the provision of quality pastoral care to all members of its school com

BOOK PARADE // This year, we have a special surprise for the 2026 edition of our Book Parade. We're excited to invite you to our Symphony of Stories Book Parade on Wednesday, 23 September from 10:00am in our School Hall.

A few friendly reminders:
Get creative using what you already have at home to bring your child's character to life.
Bring in the book of the book to show off during the parade
Cardboard can be a great, safe alternative for props (think shields and swords).
Please wear appropriate footwear for a regular day of learning.
Please be seated for a 10:00am start.

ST CARLOS RELIC AT SPPG // Yesterday our school was blessed with a special opportunity, the relic of St Carlo Acutis was brought to Ss Peter & Paul’s for our students and staff to venerate.

Classes attended a presentation exploring Carlo’s life, his deep love for the Eucharist and his path to sainthood. Students were inspired by his message of using everyday gifts, including technology, to share faith, kindness and hope.

It was a beautiful moment of reflection for our community, and we are grateful to the parish team for making this experience possible.

100 DAYS OF KINDER // Last week our Kinder students celebrated reaching 100 days of learning, laughing and growing and what a milestone it was. The excitement was sky high, the smiles were everywhere… and honestly, at times it was hard to tell the difference between the teachers and the students with all the dress‑ups, energy and enthusiasm in the room!

A huge congratulations to our Kinder kids for everything they’ve achieved so far. We’re so proud of the confidence, kindness and curiosity they bring to school each day.

Here’s to the next 100 days of learning adventures! 💛✨
