🔥 SCHOOL HOLIDAY AAU BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT ⚡️

Hi everyone!

We’re looking at taking HooperHandlez U10 and U12 teams to the AAU Australia NSW Central Coast Championship during the school holidays!

📅 10–11 October 2026
📍 Central Coast – Terrigal & Niagara Park

The tournament format includes a minimum of 4 games, with 10-minute quarters and the last 3 minutes fully timed.

💰 Cost: $250 per player + $35 registration individual player fee .
🏀 Head Coach: Lachlan Arnot
Assistant Coach: Matthew Arnot

It should be an awesome opportunity for the kids to compete against new teams, play plenty of basketball and get some great tournament experience.

We’re also planning to make it a fun team experience

we’ll go to the beach once during the tournament, and each team will have one team training session at an outdoor court.
Both are For free.

Once we know how many players are interested, we’ll start organising teams !

Hi everyone!

We’re looking at taking HooperHandlez U10 and U12 teams to the AAU Australia NSW Central Coast Championship during the school holidays!

it’s been a long 3-4 years journey to become state champions ! 💚

What a day of 3x3 basketball! 🏀

We finished 1st in our pool and battled our way into the Grand Final. Unfortunately, we had to play the final without Cyrus after he was injured and couldn’t suit up.

The Grand Final was an absolute thriller. Derrick knocked down a huge three-pointer early that would have given us the lead, but it was waved away by the referee. In the end, we went down by just 1 point in overtime. It stings, but I’m incredibly proud of this group.

A big congratulations to Luke, Brian and Max from the Hornsby Spiders. As a Hornsby Spiders rep coach, I couldn’t be prouder of those boys and I’m genuinely happy for them.
They’re the only team I’m happy to lose to. 💚

Most of all, I’m proud of my own team. You played with heart, showed resilience, supported each other all day, and were amazing mates throughout the entire tournament. The friendships you’ve built are just as important as the basketball, and I hope they last for many years to come.

What a fantastic day of competition.
So much to be proud of. 💪🏀
