📢 Mandatory national child safety training is coming – register now!

From 27 February 2026, all persons with management and control, nominated supervisors, persons in day-to-day charge and other staff, volunteers, and students in early childhood education and care must complete mandatory national child safety training.

You will need a Geccko account to access and complete the training.

The free training is being developed with the Australian Centre for Child Protection. It will be available on Geccko – the Australian Government’s online learning platform.

IN HOME CARE EDUCATOR REQUIRED:

START DATE: End of October/ beginning of November 2025 (hoping for a 12 month minimum commitment)

LOCATION: North Talwood family owned and operated cattle property; located equidistant between Goondiwindi and St George (1 hour), and in between the great small communities of Westmar (35 mins), Talwood and Toobeah (40 mins).

ROLE: Care of a happy and inquisitive 12 month old girl, while the mother looks to return to work in town and in family business. Part-time / flexible hours – minimum 3 days per week (30hrs), with potential for more for the right candidate. Family can also provide assistance in connecting with local community opportunities.

ACCOMMODATION: 2 bedroom self contained accommodation (separate to the main house). Furnished with utilities and WIFI included. Open to discussions regarding part time living arrangements if the right candidate prefers to travel for the job.

OTHER:
• Drivers license and own car required
• Pay - dependent on experience
• Willingness to immerse themselves in SWQ country life
• And most importantly, someone who is warm, responsible, playful, and caring to take care of a small child.
