Archetype Design Agency: A Sensory Portfolio
🧱Image A: Tactile Materials and Detail
This close-up focuses purely on the materials, showing how we integrate tactile elements. We blend raw natural stone (like the travertine and sandstone common to the Gold Coast) with soft, organic fabrics and minimalist concrete. This emphasizes our belief that a space must be engaging and calming at a physical level, appealing to touch before sight.
🛋️Image B: The Intimate Calm Nook
This scene expands the conversation area established in our image, It showcases how low-profile furniture, textured bouclé upholstery, and integrated, warm acoustic lighting create a specialized zone specifically designed for focused, calm communication. The abstract art on the light oak paneled wall provides visual softness without clutter, making it an ideal space for neurodivergent comfort.
🪴Image C: The Dedicated Sensory Room
We’ve moved beyond the open plan office to show a dedicated, enclosed wellness sanctuary. This is an optimal example of specialized neuro-inclusive design. Key features include:
• Acoustic control: The curved, slatted ceiling and padded, soft-cushioned walls reduce sound reverberation.
• Regulated lighting: The soft glow from beneath the bench provides safe, non-abrasive ground illumination.
• Tactile interaction: The kinetic sand feature table offers gentle, repetitive interaction to promote calmness.
• Connection to Nature: The view of the lush vertical garden outside provides necessary soft fascination.

Designing spaces that truly feel right 💡✨
We’re excited to share a glimpse into our latest community centre project in collaboration for Gold Coast City Council thoughtfully designed for neurodivergent young adults.
This isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about experience.
🧠 Smart sensory design principles guide every detail:
• Calm, low-stimulation zones for decompression
• Adaptive lighting to reduce sensory overload
• Acoustic control for a more comfortable environment
• Intuitive layouts that support independence and ease of navigation
Every texture, tone, and transition has been carefully considered to create a space that empowers, supports, and welcomes.
Because inclusive design isn’t a feature, it’s a responsibility.
💬 We’d love to hear your thoughts — what makes a space feel safe and comfortable to you?

New work shirts are in 🔥👕
“Building Dreams by Design.”
Clean. Sharp. Straight to the point, just like how we work.
Nothing crazy… just a crew that takes pride in what we do and now we look good doing it too 💪
Same work ethic. Same attention to detail. Just repping the name a little stronger on site.
What do you think, we wearin’ these right? 👊
