Here we go again...

Australia has increased the Student visa and Temporary Graduate visa fees, making it more expensive for many international students and graduates.

The new fees affect the subclass 500 Student visa and subclass 485 Graduate visa, including extra costs for partners and children.

There are also cheaper visa fees for some eligible applicants from the Pacific Islands and Timor-Leste.

Bad news, but be aware...

The 485 Temporary Graduate Visa application fee has doubled to $4,600 for both streams, without any warning.

Always be careful about who you are getting advice from. Is your education agent on the Qualified Education Agents (QEA) List? Do they have multiple positive google reviews? Also do your own research on the college(s) you are considering yourself. This is a very sad update on a scam affecting multiple Indian students.

Indian students make up the second-largest group of international students in Australia, but opportunistic agents are scamming students out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Major Rule Change Coming...

From July 1, 2024:

Temporary Graduate Visa (485) & Visitor (600/601) visa holders will no longer be eligible to apply for a student visa while onshore.

Options? 485 visa holders could consider investigating the Training Visa (407) with a reputable migration agent. Pease connect with us if you would like a referral.
