✨ May at Mindroom was full of learning, connection, and hands-on experiences across technology, career development, and community impact.

We were proud to host a series of engaging events that brought together students, industry professionals, and the wider community.

🔥 Tech & Pizza: ACS Networking Event (1 May)

We kicked off the month with a fantastic networking lunch alongside the ACS team and tech industry professionals. Students explored opportunities in the Australian tech sector, shared insights, and built valuable professional connections in an inclusive and welcoming environment. A big congratulations to our Mindroom students for their curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the event.

🔥 Plant Trees, Protect Wildlife: Volunteer Day (2 May)

A meaningful community initiative focused on sustainability, bringing participants together to make a positive environmental impact through hands-on volunteering.

🔥 IT Careers and Pathways with ACS & Immigration Lawyer (21 May)

An insightful session based on the ACS Technology Career Wheel and Map, helping students understand the wide range of pathways available within the IT industry and future career opportunities in Australia.

🔥 Deploy Your First Website: Domains, Hosting & SSL Workshop (28 May)

A highly practical 1.5-hour workshop where students learned what happens when a website goes live. After a short theory session, participants got hands-on experience and successfully launched their own websites or landing pages by the end of the session.

💡 May was a month of growth, learning, and real-world experience at Mindroom.

June is here, and we’ve already started the month with meaningful moments at Mindroom 🌿🎓

We begin with our Volunteer Tree Planting with Elanora Bushcare (fully booked), bringing students together to support environmental conservation and give back to the community.

We then celebrate a very special milestone — Your Graduation Day Ceremony at Mindroom, honouring the hard work and achievements of our graduating students.

📚 Term Break: 15th June – 5th July (back Monday 6th July)
