Todays jobs completed for my home. Clean glass sliding doors, tracks/frames & screen doors, deep clean toilet (remove seat — if you have boys or men in the house this a must!) & test out my new squeegee & portable shower ✅ REST now lol 🤍

So I finally bought a portable shower for those jobs that don’t have handheld shower heads!

This means no more using my giant protein shaker cup to rinse showers IYKYK 🤣🙈

It’s not always glamorous behind the scenes of cleaning jobs, but I’m always looking for little ways to make my work more efficient! 🙌🏻

So here I am testing out my new little gadget, ready to put it to the test on some jobs next week!

Hopefully the protein shaker cup can finally retire from its shower-rinsing duties! ☺️

These beautiful flowers absolutely melted my heart. 😭💐🤍

Over the coming weeks, I will be saying goodbye to one of the very first families who trusted me with their home almost six years ago.

It's amazing how what starts as a cleaning service can become so much more.

I've watched their children grow up, get their first jobs, their car licenses, head off to university, welcome new additions to their home 🐶🐾🐠

For nearly six years, I've had the privilege of caring for their home, and that's something I'll never take for granted.

Looking back, I realise they gave me so much more than the opportunity to clean their home. They gave me the opportunity to grow—both personally and professionally. As one of my very first regular families, they were part of my journey, and because of them I've learnt so much, gained confidence, refined my services, and become the home-care professional I am today. For that, I'll always be incredibly grateful. 🤍

Life has a way of changing. Seasons shift, circumstances change, and sometimes paths naturally come to an end. While it's always a little bittersweet saying goodbye, I'm incredibly grateful they chose to trust me all those years ago.

To this beautiful family, thank you for your kindness, your support, and for allowing me to be a small part of your lives. It has truly been an honour. 🤍

These flowers will be a lovely reminder of the memories we've shared over the years. 🙏🏻

This absolutely made my day! 🥹🤍

The little ones at a regular home I care for left me this sweet Post-it note after noticing the toilet paper flower I folded. 🌸🧻

It's such a small gesture, but knowing it brought a smile to their faces means more than they probably realise.

It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

I truly believe it's often the little things that make a house feel like home. A folded towel, a thoughtful touch, a clean space... they may seem small, but they let people know someone cared.

Mini portable wearable fan... excuse me but WHERE have you been all my life?! 😍🙌🏻

Anyone who cleans for a living will wholeheartedly understand this one!

Homes—especially the bathrooms—can feel like little saunas during the warmer months 🥵, and even in winter I still work up a sweat. 🫠

Cleaning is incredibly physical work. You're constantly moving for hours, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling around on all fours under furniture, scrubbing, reaching, lifting, and spending long periods on your feet, repeating those same movements over and over again.

So when I found this mini portable fan that clips onto my shorts, I knew I had to give it a go!

And let me tell you...
it's relatively small, but it's MIGHTY! 💨🙌🏻

I'll definitely be well prepared for the warmer months later this year. I've been trying to find a simple solution to help stop me from overheating, and I think I've finally found it!

I think these would be brilliant for anyone working in or around the home—cleaners, gardeners, handymen, tradies, sports coaches, hikers... and let's be honest, they're probably pretty handy for us middle-aged ladies too! 😂🥵 *IYKYK.*

Does anyone else find cleaning therapeutic? 🤍

When I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed, I often find myself deep cleaning my own home. It helps me shift my focus away from the things I can't control and onto something productive and grounding.

I tend to zone out and focus on the task right in front of me which I find comforting.

For me, it's not really about having a spotless home. It's about creating a sense of calm when life feels a little chaotic.

A clean space really can make such a difference to how we feel ✨ And my shower was definitely due for some attention, so it's a win-win! ☺️

I'd love to know—do you clean when you're feeling stressed too?
