Six months ago, 12 people were one “maybe next year” away from staying exactly where they were.

Today, halfway through their Sound Healer Facilitator Training, I can see the shift in their eyes.

I can feel a different energy in their messages and questions.

Doubt replaced by that quiet, undeniable energy of, f**k it, I’m doing this.

Their confidence didn’t come from certainty.

It came from showing up.

You Don’t Need More Crystals. You Need a Plan.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an absolutely massive fan of the woo woo, the manifestation, the heart-aligned purpose, the heart-aligned mission.

But with the utmost respect, sitting on your ass and manifesting all day long ain't going to get you s%$t.

The universe doesn’t reward wishful thinking. It rewards aligned action combined with gratitude, kindness and heart.

It’s the small daily actions that lead to epic results over time. A little bit every day, like chipping away at a masterpiece.

Clarity of mission is what separates dreamers from doers.

When your mission is led from your heart with clarity, that’s when the magic happens.

That’s what keeps you fired up day to day, hour to hour, week to week, because you can see the big picture. You FEEL the VISION before your eyes.

When I built projects like Tribal Moon Cacao, my music schools around the world, or released albums, and toured the world with my original music and my small team, the clarity of my mission was always crystal clear.

That clarity carried me through every challenge, every setback, every “what am I doing” moment.

So here’s the question I want to leave you with today.

What’s your mission?

We've been featuring a lot of Cacao nibs and pastes on your feed. So we thought why not let our newer tribal members just getting into Cacao and all its spiritual benefits, have a peek into the different types of cacao usually served!

so without further ado let's go!

[1] 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐍𝐢𝐛𝐬

This tiny ingredient comes in small dimensions but a punching taste!

The “nib” is the inside of the bean, separated from its outer shell (typically after roasting), then ground into a paste.

[2] 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞

The paste is called cocoa mass (in Europe) or cocoa liquor (in the U.S.). In spite of the name, there is no alcohol in cocoa liquor.

Cocoa liquor can be placed under high pressure to yield cocoa powder (or “cake”) and cocoa butter. Or it can be slowly ground and mixed, while adding sugar and additional cocoa butter, to make chocolate.

[3] 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫

Cocoa “butter” (also called Theobroma oil) has no dairy in it. It’s a vegetable fat, pale yellow in color, which is naturally present in cacao.

This can be used in cooking or a healthy alternative to butter!

When we experience profound trauma we fragment, meaning a part of us vacates because there is an aspect that is too wounded to process the trauma so it leaves the body so to speak, this is the state of fear and trauma

When we are ready to face this trauma and begin or deepen the journey of healing and integration, to become creators and masters of our lives, it is our responsibility to bring that part of us ‘back home’, calling it back inside of us. Cacao can assist in calling these fragmented parts of self back home. Because it is such an effective heart opening plant medicine it holds a space for greater empathy to be felt towards these discarded and neglected parts of the self.
