Star of the Sea Catholic College Integrating active faith and quality learning, together we strive daily bring to life our College motto: Faith and Knowledge.

Since its opening in 1957, under the leadership of the Presentation Sisters, Star of the Sea Catholic College has provided quality education for students in a faith-based learning community. Today, a skilled, professional and dedicated staff team continues to express and develop the spirit and traditions of our founders, in partnership with parents who seek a Catholic education for their children.

Currently serving 250 students from Kindergarten to grade 10, we offer a challenging, supportive and individually-focused educational environment as we strive to provide for each student the rich and balanced curriculum that supports current and future success. Full parent involvement and community support are encouraged at all levels of College life. Our class programmes are enriched by parents’ involvement, a parent network supports community spirit and committed parent members drive the work of an active College Board. Strong links between the College and the local business and industry sectors provide rich and grounded learning experiences for our students. The progressive change, ongoing development and clear attention to Star of the Sea’s Catholic culture and ethos that have been the corner stones of the College since its inception continue to characterise our learning community.
