The introduction of strategic educational plans, emphasis upon quality teaching and learning programs for our students, supported by a broad range of specialist elective choices offers students a wide range of exciting and meaningful experiences as part of their education. Whether it is in classrooms, in our local community or through the vast array of field trips, camps or tours our students benefit from authentic learning to enrich their educational experience. Our students enjoy the expertise of our outstanding teachers, excellent Teaching and Learning programs, safe and secure classroom environments and a culture that supports their individual progress. Giving young people positive educational opportunities leads to a love of learning and provides the necessary skills to meet the challenges of a changing world. Jam for Refugees - Saturday 17 October

Christian College Geelong is proud to support Jam for Refugees at All Saints Newtown on Saturday 17 October, continuing a valued tradition of students performing in support of refugees in the Geelong community.

Join us from 2.00pm to 3.00pm to enjoy performances from talented student musicians across our campuses, from Middle Years through to VCE. Representing a thriving music program of more than 800 instrumental students, these performers showcase the depth of musical talent and opportunity at Christian College Geelong.

Under the direction of our staff, Regina Thomae and Kate Notini, our students look forward to sharing their music with family, friends and the wider community.

We encourage our College community to come along, enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music, and support this important cause.

Grandparents gather at Highton Campus
Yesterday, our Years 5 and 6 students at Highton Campus welcomed their grandparents and other special people in their lives for a memorable afternoon of connection and celebration. Starting with a welcome in the Chapel, students and family members then moved into classrooms to share a range of fun activities during a wonderful afternoon of celebrating the relationships that enrich our community and support our students on their learning journey. Hitting the road in Europe...
While an overseas experience during a school term for students often comes about through a student exchange program, or international trips offered as part of language or other studies, or perhaps a family holiday – for Declan P (Year 11), this year it was all about getting more of a taste of what professional cycling might look like. After just 18 months of competitive cycling, he was one of only four promising young cyclists from Australia chosen to travel to Europe and experience what Declan called ‘next level’ competition. He returned with three wins and two second places to show for it. Surf Coast scientists…
To round out last term, students from Prep to Year 4 at Surf Coast Campus staged their Science Expo, with each year level exploring a different design or research challenge. It was great to welcome parents and family members on campus to view the displays and learn about the students’ projects. Preps were tasked with designing and creating a brand-new toy; Year 1s designed a tool or a toy based on their learning about forces and simple machines; Year 2s planned and designed functional playgrounds using everyday materials; Year 3s researched an animal of their choice and Year 4s became marine experts, delving into the wonderful world of sea creatures.

Are you excited about leadership and engagement with young people? Do you have experience in education, youth work, boarding supervision or a similar role? CCG seeks an experienced and responsible Overnight Supervisor to join our Rural Program team, based at the Back Creek Farm campus in Scotsburn. The position is part-time (0.84FTE) and fixed term (Jan-Sept 2027). This role is an essential part of ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of students overnight. It requires leadership, supervision and pastoral care for adolescents, and the ability to ensure that routines are followed to promote a positive residential experience. Music Camp – always plenty of high notes…
For our CCG musicians, at Highton, Bellarine and Surf Coast Campuses, Middle School Music Camp was a highlight of Term 3, as band, orchestra and choir activities, saw them learn, rehearse, perform and build new friendships. Fun nighttime activities were another chance to connect – a Steve Horman Trivia Night, a high-energy disco hosted by Kate Notini and the Year 8s, and a more chilled space where students could enjoy games, colouring and conversation. On top of all that, they walked to the beach, met local wildlife, and saw the Watato Children’s Choir perform. Our Middle and Senior School musicians will feature at the Annual Music Evening on October 15.
