We loved this insight into what Jackie, at Leafy Lane Family Day Care () has been doing to celebrate Book Week for the last few years.

Just a $2 calico bag from spotlight (that Jackie has made a book week iron on with her Cricut machine). She adds a little note and paper attached for parents to tell us something about their book. The children love this each year and itโ€™s wonderful to see them all caring and sharing their books together all week.
Jackie says every week is book week at her service, but this adds a special touch along with a cosy cubby Jackie and the children make outside to hang their book bags in and chill out reading throughout the week ๐Ÿ“š

We are in awe of this art exhibition by Janani, the inspiring family day care educator behind Little Weavers, on Woiwurrung and Boon Wurrung Country in Victoria.
The exhibition is a celebration of creativity, community, connection to Country, and their shared care for the planet. Gold coin donations went to The Little Free Pantry in Ormond.

It was so inspirational, and quite moving when Janani explained the stories behind each piece. Sue, our Victorian Nominated Supervisor, even contributed with a lantern she made from Inspired EC's artwork!
