Today, Friday 23 May, is P&C Day WA so I’m running a competition to acknowledge the tireless parents and carers who give so much to Freo schools. 🫶

Let me know the great things your P&C (or P&F) has done or is doing, to make your school even better.

Multiple entries by the same person only count as one, so get as many parents from your school as you can to comment to give your school more chances of winning!

Winners for each prize will picked at random. The first prize is for a $250 voucher and the runner up gets a $150 voucher.

The competition is open to all schools in the Fremantle state electorate.

The competition closes 5pm Friday 30 May and the winner will be announced Monday 2 June.📚

Start of year Smoking Ceremony - All Welcome!

Dear Beacy Families,
It was great to see so many families at Book Drop Off today. We hope it makes the first day a little easier for you. Apologies to our Kindy Families as we don't have you all on our Connect platform just yet.

A reminder to all families that we begin our school year tomorrow with our Smoking Ceremony organised by our P and C at 9:15am.

We would love to have as many families as possible to start our year off with us as a whole community.

P&C Busy Bee - Sunday 2nd Feb 8-11am

It is nearly time for the students to go back to school and there is a bit of work to do to get the school grounds ready for their return. There is some pruning, mulching and weeding and other general maintenance to do and as we know, many hands make light work, so please come and join in at 8am on Sunday 2nd February.

Meet Gail and the team at the gardener’s shed by the undercover area at 8am or join when you can. Just drop Gail a message on 0419148909 to let her know that you can make it.

Well done to all involved in bring the Beacy Bright Arts Exhibition together.
Friday was a wonderful day for our students to enjoy, and today was outstanding to have a community exhibition that was so professional and something our school community can be proud of.

Our kids and community are lucky to have amazing parents and staff that volunteer their time to bring these community events together. 👏👏👏

Coffee Van for Senior Carnival!

Our regular Coffee Van will be set up on the bottom oval from 8am tomorrow for us all to enjoy while we cheer the kids on.

There are heaps of amazing items to bid on all donated by people and businesses in our community; Nights out, fitness, wellness, beauty, family activities, kids lessons, funky monkey bar set, books, and many many MORE. There is something for everyone!!!

The auction will close at 10:30pm on 9th August, quiz night, but being online it allows all members of our community to participate so please promote to family and friends.

Funds raised will go towards more amazing projects at our wonderful school. Go Beacy!
