Did you know that strongbacks are the name given to these temporary structural beams? They are usually made from steel, and are bolted to the face of tilt-up concrete panels. They prevent cracking or bowing under the immense bending stresses caused when the panel is rotated from horizontal to vertical.

Recently, Alita Constructions had an amazing sponsor opportunity!

A few weeks ago, we helped transform life for a young boy named Ryan, through the Now Foundation. Young Ryan lives with Allan–Herndon–Dudley Syndrome; a condition that affects nearly every part of his daily life.

For Ryan, even something as simple as bathing was a major challenge. His family had no safe or suitable way to support him at home, impacting his comfort, health, and dignity.

Today, that has changed. Ryan now has a safe, fully accessible bathroom designed specifically for his needs—made possible with the support of Alita Constructions, an honoured sponsor.
