Women Aware - Incidental Exercise, Personal Security and Health gems The art of incidental exercise to transform flabbiness into firmness. Women Awareness is also about personal security and interesting and healthy gems.

Our body tells us when it feels healthy - it feels like it can take on the world and win. We react more positively, we are more innovative, more confident and capable when we feel strong and energetic. It certainly helps us to feel good when we look good, and conversely – when we feel good, we tend to look good too. Pressure exercises, stretching and balancing whilst going about our daily routines

can become second nature. One hugely important aspect of personal security,is the protection of personal body space. More about this later...

Hi peeps.
How are we all going without leaning? Putting on socks and shoes standing up? Pulling in our tummies and breathing consciously while we walk with shoulders back and spine straight?
Butt-lifting while we lounge in bed reading or watch telly?
And remember veggies every day, especially leafy greens for growing littlies.
Be safe. Stay positive. Feel the love. ###xx

Remember how we used to sit on the edge of the bed or the bath to roll on stockings, yank off boots, fasten sandal straps? 👢👢

Not anymore! Now we stand on our own two feet… or rather, we alternate balancing on one. Always be careful, and lean if you must.

Put off crinkley-face for as long as possible - avoid frowning and of course - drink water.
Stay connected, peeps; and look out for each other 🧡

Something to think about while life heads back towards... normal.

Hi peeps. Remember to lift your chin if you don't want a turkey-neck :)

Extracted from "Incidental Exercise" by Carrol Burt:

If you have more than one 4-legged walkaholic, you could tie their leads to your belt, freeing up your arms to swing comfortably at your sides. To avoid injury, do train them to not pull on the lead. They should be well-disciplined and walk on either side of you, or slightly ahead with a slack lead.

While you’re walking, breathe deeply - way down into the bottom of your lungs. In through the nose is the best way to go, since it evolved to filter, moisten and warm incoming air. Then tense your abdominal muscles while breathing out – totally emptying your lungs through your mouth, before taking in oxygen again.
After only 2 weeks of daily walking and contracting your tummy muscles during your out-breath, you should drop a whole skirt size.

If you are in the habit of lying in bed for a while before rising, perhaps listening to the news, planning your day or just soaking up the quiet peacefulness, you could use that time to do something constructive for your body.
Lie on your back and tense your inner-thigh, butt and groin muscles. Grip and release. Do this butt-side-down pelvic one-inch-clench around fifty times. Then, roll over and repeat, but butt-up :)
After a few weeks of morning (and night flexes), you should be rewarded by shrinking inner thighs and lifting butt-cheeks.
Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there, especially those who can't physically hug your sons and daughters at this special time. Sending much love to you all.

Hello peeps. So, how are we progressing with our mindful curtailing of lazy-leaning?
I caught myself propping up against the kitchen sink once or twice 😁 The thing is to not be too hard on yourself. Just smile, move back, knees unlocked, toes forward, tummies in, and get that sparkle on.
Be kind to yourself. Sending out comforting, warm hugs to you all ❤

Keep firming the flab.
Here come some comforting, tight-tight virtual hugs to everyone who needs one. 💕💕💕

Wishing you all a very happy, peaceful and rewarding day, as we continue to develop and improve our house-bound bodies and minds.

Today, let's be conscious of ** leaning** - leaning up against the sink, for instance. Raise yourself up away from your prop, tense those tummy muscles so you don't strain your back, and continue doing what you were doing.

Only now, you're becoming more mindful of your body and progressing away from sloppy and slothful, towards controlled and poised.

Sending you all much love, especially those who live alone without pets. My heart goes out to you. Feel the love ❤
