On Thursday 12 December (Week 9), Year 10 Commerce students will set up various stalls, offering a variety of goods, in the much anticipated Market Day! Our budding Year 10 entrepreneurs have been working hard to develop their business proposal and showcase their products to the Fairvale school community.
There’s something for everyone including flower bouquets, bracelets, croc charms, plushie toys, Christmas ornaments, photo booth and temporary tattoos! All goods must be purchased using tokens, which will be on sale in Weeks 8 and 9 (up to and including Market Day). 10% of all sales will be donated to charity.
Tokens will be sold during roll call and Lunch 1 (outside Newling Centre) during Weeks 8 and 9. Each token is $1.00. If you purchase tokens before Market Day, make sure you hold onto it as we will not be responsible for any lost tokens. Remember to bring it with you on Market Day to purchase goods.
Don’t miss this chance to support your fellow students with their business venture! It promises to be a very exciting day, and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Our Zone is made up of 6 schools and approximately 7000 students which come together to represent Lansdowne Zone in the Sydney South West Schools Sports Association. As a Zone we always strive to do our best and support each other throughout our sporting journey.
We came together on Wednesday the 6th of November at the annual Lansdowne Zone Blues Awards presentation to recognise athletes that have demonstrated outstanding results within the sporting realm.
Through hard work and determination some of our very own athletes at Fairvale High School were recognised for their achievements.

A special mention to two of our teams, first being the Boccia Boys Carlos, Anthony, Brandon, Nicholas and Coach Mr Repousis who received a Recognition in Sport award for their efforts in coming 3rd in the State for Boccia (Second year in a row!). Secondly our U/16 Boys Futsal team received the award for Male Team of the Year for their amazing Futsal Season. Congratulations Peter, Mario, Meron, George, Arthur, Andi, Iden, Gaberiel, Vekin, Andre, Saemon and Coach Mr Medcalf.
Collectively Fairvale High School won 2 out of 3 major Zone Carnivals this year. Taking out the Zone Athletics (9 Years in a row) and Cross Country (10 Years in a row) Carnivals.
Congratulations to all the students who received awards, we are all very proud of you.
