It uses a whole of community approach, encouraging everyone to read, talk, sing, rhyme and draw with children from birth.

🥚✨ Exciting news, Exmouth! ✨🥚

It looks like the Paint Exmouth REaD egg is finally ready to hatch! 🐣

After careful checks with the ambos and the vet, we’ve been told the egg is looking strong, healthy, and ready to meet the world — and they all agree it’s going to hatch at 9:00am on Tuesday, 21st October at the Children’s Week event in Federation Park! 🎉

We can’t wait to see what’s inside… any last-minute guesses about what our mysterious egg might be? 👀💭

🥚💛 Our Paint Exmouth REaD egg has had such a busy end to the week last week!

First, it popped by the Exmouth Toy LibraryExmouth Toy Library to check out all the fun toys and meet some amazing little readers 🎲📚 Then on Thursday night, it headed down to the Community Connection X Night Markets, where it met so many interesting and fun kids (and grown-ups too!) 🌟

The egg is absolutely cracking with excitement after such a wonderful few days of stories, smiles, and community spirit! 🥰📖

🥚 But the big question is… where do you think it will turn up next? 👀

🥚✨ The Paint The Town REaD Egg is heading to the Food Truck Fiesta at Town Beach tomorrow from 5:30pm!

Bring the whole family down for an evening of stories, community connection, and delicious local eats 🌮🍦

📚 We’ll be reading a bunch of fun children’s books to the Egg throughout the night — come join in the fun, listen to a story, or even borrow a book to enjoy while you tuck into your dinner!

It’s the perfect mix of food, family and reading fun — we can’t wait to see you there! ❤️📖

🐣✨ The Kindy Kids from Exmouth District High School had a wonderful visit to the Exmouth Public Library and look who they met…the Paint Exmouth REaD Egg! 📚💛

The children loved seeing the egg up close and sharing their excitement for the big adventure ahead.
