SSSM-NH will be hosting another suturing event, but this time advanced!

We will be having our amazing surgical registrar teach us more advanced suturing skills (like the figure 8, subcutaneous stitches) and even securing a drain tube in! We’ll be tying into what we learned from the first suturing night and hand tying event. If you didn’t go to the previous events, don’t worry! We got you all!

SSSM Northern is excited to host a Zoom session for MD4s, featuring interns from various hospitals who will be sharing their experiences. We’ve invited interns from Northern, RMH, St. Vincent’s, Alfred, and Austin 😲

This will be a great opportunity to ask any burning questions in a relaxed and supportive space. While many internship talks focus on work culture and what to consider when ranking preferences, it can be difficult to understand what that actually looks like in practice.

We thought it would be helpful to hear directly from students who have been in your shoes about how they made their decisions and what their experiences have been like🫂
