Our Stage 1 students had a fantastic day stepping back in time to learn about life in the past. They discovered how people communicated before technology by writing letters, and enjoyed trying out a rotary phone.
Students played traditional games including pick-up sticks, quoits and marbles, made and tasted damper, and proudly showed off their outfits in a history-themed fashion parade.
The day finished with some dancing through the decades, including the Heel and Toe Polka, Syncopated Cyril and the Moonwalk!
It was history in the making as students explored the past through hands-on experiences, proving that fun never goes out of style.
Thank you to the teachers for planning such a fun and interactive day of learning!

The sun was shining for our return to PSSA netball. The Juniors enjoyed their first game, coming in 2nd place. The Seniors played a close game, losing by only one goal. Lots of smiles and laughter which is what it is all about. A special mention to one of our Junior players, Scout. A parent from the opposing team commented on her wonderful sportsmanship, helping her opponent who had never played before. Well done Scout! πππ

Weβre going on a shape hunt!
Kindergarten made the most of the sunshine yesterday, exploring our amazing school grounds, in search of shapes. They found circles in tunnels and hoops, quadrilaterals in wood panels and even noticed that the deck around the tree was in the shape of a hexagon! There were some very clever children who also noticed that two triangles placed together made a rectangle, as found on our outdoor garden!
Great job kindergarten!
