👏🥞 Pancake Day Success! 👏🥞

A huge thank you to our fabulous pancake-flipping volunteers!

As the saying goes, "Many hands make light work," and thanks to that and your enthusiasm, and teamwork, we were able to cook an incredible 660 pancakes before first break. What an amazing achievement!

We hope everyone enjoyed their pancakes as much as we enjoyed serving them.

Pancake Day was a fantastic success, and we would like to thank everyone who supported our fundraising initiative for Chappy Marion.

We have now opened cash payments for Pancake Day orders! 🎉

Simply place the correct cash amount in a sealed envelope clearly labelled with your child’s name and class, then drop it into the office.

⏰ Cash payments close Monday morning at 9:00am.

💻 Online orders are still available through Flexischools - online orders will close Sunday 31/5.

This week is National Volunteer Week, and it provides a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and thank all those — past and present — who have volunteered their time to support our school community.

Whether helping behind the scenes, supporting events and activities, sharing skills and knowledge, or simply lending a hand when needed, every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

While this week shines a spotlight on volunteering, the truth is we are grateful every single day for the generosity, care, and community spirit shown by our volunteers. Their support helps create opportunities for our kids and strengthens the sense of connection that makes our school such a special place.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school community.

To make this event a success, the P&C are still looking for parent volunteers to assist at different times:

🛍️ Tuesday: 12:00pm – 2:00pm (Set up)
🎀 Wednesday: Mother’s Day Stall (during school hours)
☀️ Thursday: 8:00am – 9:00am (Pop-up stall)

Even an hour of your time would make a big difference 🙌

🌸 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – MOTHER’S DAY STALL 🌸

Runcorn Heights State School P&C are reaching out as we are needing some enthusiastic volunteers to help us with our upcoming Mother’s Day Stall

We’re looking for volunteers for the following:

* Tuesday 5th May: 12:00-2:00pm for set up
* Wednesday 6th May: 8:30-1:30pm - Stall
* Thursday 7th May: 8:00am- 9:00am - Pop up stall

If you’re available to assist on any or all of these days please let me know.
We need a minimum of 8 volunteers each day to keep things running smoothly.
