🍰 Cake Stall: We are asking families to donate cakes, slices, biscuits or other baked goodies for our P&C cake stall. All money raised will go towards technology for our school.

We're excited to launch our 2026 EHPS Book Week Character Competition! Students are invited to design their own original character, with one K–2 winner and one 3–6 winner having their artwork transformed into a custom plush toy!

🖍️ Entry fee: $2 per design
📅 Entries close: Monday 24 August (Week 6)
📄 Don't forget to attach the permission slip to each entry.

Competition notes and permission slips have been sent home and are also available on SchoolBytes.

We can't wait to see the amazing characters our students create! 💙💛📖

Headspace National have arranged a free online webinar for parents and carers on supporting young people impacted by grief and loss, to be held tonight, Wednesday 12 August from 5pm to 6pm.

The webinar aims to:
Provide information regarding children and young people's mental health
Explore the conversational approach to talking to young people about grief and loss, including death by su***de
Build awareness of local and national support services available to young people and carers
Grow skills and strategies to encourage help-seeking and self-care.

Participants must register to attend and receive follow-up help seeking information post session. The session will not be recorded. Cameras and audio of participants will be disabled. The attached flyer has more details and the link to register.
