Thank you to Journey Echuca West for visiting our Prep room as part of our Book Week celebrations📚🐸

We enjoyed reading *Frogs Are Our Friends* and *The Frog’s First Song* together before getting creative and making our own frogs. 🐸

This visit was a wonderful extension of our **Pen Pal Program, where our Preps have been writing letters to their Kinder friends. It was fantastic to strengthen these connections and provide our students with meaningful opportunities to engage with our local Kinder community.

A wonderful celebration of books, friendship and community connections! 💚📖

Today our year 5/6 Hands On Crew had the privilege of being part of the Cooking for Change program with Echuca Regional Health, Echuca Neighbourhood House and Bendigo Foodshare. We spent the morning cooking up a storm with Kristy and Jess. Students were honoured to be giving back to the community by preparing a delicious meal of spaghetti bolognese for the Feeding Futures Full Bellies Freezer. We added another 30 meals.

What a fantastic day at our Grades 3-6 Athletics Carnival last week! Our students ran fast, jumped high, and showed wonderful team spirit. There was lots of determination, inclusion and resilience. Thank you to all the amazing teachers, staff, and cheering parents who made this event so special. Congratulations to every single student for giving it your all!
